To add the directory containing PSFTP to your PATH environment variable, type into the console window: set PATH=C:\path\to\putty\directory %PATH% To do this, it will need either to be on your PATH or in your current directory. The usual way to start PSFTP is from a command prompt, much like PSCP. By contrast, PSCP is designed to do a single file transfer operation and immediately terminate. You can list the contents of directories, browse around the file system, issue multiple get and put commands, and eventually log out.
